It’s probably a universal truth that the young tend to believe the world they experience is fine as it is in microcosm. I guess it takes the perspective of *cough* maturity to see the flaws with greater clarity. 🙁

Fifteen years ago I was on a course. The young women on the course hurried to assure us, and each other, that they weren’t feminists. I told them I was. That I admired their mothers and aunts who’d broken the way for them. They didn’t get it.

Nice post, Puppy. I just had this conversation last night with a friend of Man Child’s. I believe we’ve slid backwards, and frankly, I’m horrified by how many young women seem to take it in stride. 🙁
